Apple Schedules Event to Unveil the iPhone 6 on September 9th

Apple has scheduled an event to unveil the iPhone 6 on September 9th, reports Re/code.

The reported date is in line with previous reports that that Apple would hold an event to unveil the next generation smartphone in mid-September.

More recent reports have suggested that production delays may have pushed back the device’s actual release date into October.
