Samay is an action-based suspense murder mystery thriller movie starring Sushmita Sen, and Sushant Singh. It also has Jackie Shroff in it as the clever antagonist. It was inspired from Hollywood movie Se7en starring Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt ACP Malvika Chauhan (Sushmita Sen) is a widowed cop having a 10-year-old daughter. She is saddled with the murder case of a reputed businessman, where the killer has left no evidence. Before she can get into the investigation, a famous heroine is killed. Malvika suspects that it might be the work of a serial killer. ACP Malvika Chauhan starts to do what she is best at solving difficult crimes. This investigation the biggest challenge she has faced till now in her career is a journey so dark and daring that she did not know it existed.
